We are looking for a Strong and Passionate HEAD CHEF to join in the execution of a large-scale kitchen operation on the northern end of the Gold Coast. The successful candidates MUST have a passion for hospitality, highly organised, be a team player and be able to bring a positive attitude.

Crafty’s is a market leader in its unique offering in a fun casual category, serving some of the best premium casual fare on the Gold Coast, and delivering top notch service. This role will suit someone who is passionate and wants to take their career to higher leve& food ls, working closely with a fantastic team & company.

The Role:

Working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a strong focus on delivering consistently high standards through every service

Highly organised and can plan and execute services

Resilient, quick thinking & pro active

Part of a large team that has a strong focus on positivity and balance in the workplace

Good understanding of financial controls regarding the kitchen

To be successful you must have:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role

Solid knowledge and experience in running a kitchen and leading a medium sized team

Experience in high volume production of food and fast paced service periods

Excellent leadership skills & positive attitude

The ability to work quickly, cleanly and efficiently

Strong understanding of OH&S

Able to give direction and guidance to junior staff effectively

Knowledge of financials & budgets
