🌟 We’re Looking for Our Next Scheduling Superstar! 🌟
Freedom Home Care is getting ready for the launch of the Support at Home Program this November — and we’d love you to join us on the journey.
We’re on the hunt for a Scheduling Officer to help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll work from our Launceston office, making sure our wonderful care workers are matched with participants who need them — and that everyone’s day runs like clockwork.
This role is part-time to start, with the potential to move to full-time for the right person.
✨ About the Role
You’ll be the glue that holds it all together — scheduling our care workers, talking to clients, solving problems on the fly, and keeping things organised and efficient.
What you’ll be doing:
Schedule care workers based on their availability, skills, and participant needs
Keep our records and schedules up to date
Help onboard and support new care workers
Pitch in with admin tasks
Take your turn on the on-call roster
Be part of the solution while we brainstorm as to how we can improve processes
✨ Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who’s organised, great with people, and loves solving problems. Ideally you’ll have:
You live locally, as this is not a remote position
At least one year of experience in a scheduling (bonus points if it’s in aged or disability care)
Confidence with client management software and admin tasks
A friendly, compassionate approach to work — you care about what you do
The ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt when things change
A creative, solutions-focused mindset
Confidence to use initiative and think outside the box
Can celebrate the wins and problem solve as a team
✨ Why Join Us?
At Freedom Home Care, you’re not just another employee — you’re part of something bigger.
We’re proud to make a difference in the lives of our clients every day, and we support each other every step of the way.
Here’s what you can expect:
An open-door policy and regular chats with management — we’re here when you need us
Opportunities to grow and develop your career
Wellbeing initiatives to help you keep a great work–life balance
A supportive team environment - if you need anything, just ask
Flexibility when life gets in the way
Free parking
Training and skill development
If you’re looking for a role where your skills make a real impact — and where you want to be part of the solution — we’d love to hear from you.
📧 Apply now and join our amazing team!
*AI-generated resumes, cover letters, or application materials will not be accepted. Submissions must be written and prepared directly by the applicant.
