Executive Officer – Child and Family Alliance WA (CAFAWA)
WA-based | Part-time (0.8 FTE – 30 hrs/week neg) | 12-month contract (with possibility of extension)

CAFAWA is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and values-led Executive Officer (EO) to lead our next phase of growth and influence. This is a hands-on leadership role supporting and coordinating advocacy, sector development, member engagement, and organisational operations in partnership with our Board and growing membership.

About the Role
You’ll be responsible for:
Leading and coordinating strategic implementation, policy, advocacy, and reform efforts
Building and strengthening partnerships with government, ACCOs, and the sector
Supporting and engaging CAFAWA’s diverse membership
Driving organisational operations and growth (including funding and reporting)
Representing CAFAWA in senior forums and collaborative projects
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
A confident leader with 5+ years’ experience in child, family, or community services
Skilled in policy development, systemic advocacy, and stakeholder engagement
Committed to cultural safety and experienced working alongside Aboriginal communities and ACCOs
Comfortable working autonomously, balancing strategy and delivery
Passionate about building connection, capability, and sector impact
