We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Client and Administrative Officer to support the operations and delivery of MurriMatters’ consultancy services. Reporting to the Director of Leadership Programs and Development, this multifaceted role ensures seamless administration, excellent client engagement, and the successful delivery of culturally responsive programs across Australia.
Key areas of responsibility include:
• Coordinating client communications, CRM systems, and service delivery administration.
• Supporting training and event logistics, including venues, catering, registrations, travel, and graduation events.
• Managing travel arrangements for staff and associates.
• Coordinating social media accounts, quarterly newsletters, and website updates.
• Overseeing group calendars, inboxes, subscriptions, and registrations.
• Supporting stakeholder and community engagement activities.
• Other Administration duties
Essential Criteria
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
• Minimum 2 years’ administrative experience, with proven ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
• Strong computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office, with experience using CRMs (desirable).
• Experience managing social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram) in a professional context.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and professionalism.
• Flexibility and adaptability, comfortable adjusting to changing priorities.
• Experience working across the First Nations landscape (essential), and with government departments (desirable).
• Cultural capability, able to work inclusively and respectfully in culturally safe environments.
• Residency requirement: Must be based on the East Coast, South Australia or Northern Territory, with the right to work in Australia.
