As a Trainee Team Leader in the commercial laundry, you will play a fundamental role in leading and training the activities of the production team while maintaining high quality standards and complying with safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Hands on role, working with production workers to learn how to ensure production and dispatch schedules are controlled and completed to a consistent quality and on time.

Lead a team to ensure that customer orders are processed following clear production systems efficiently in line with the production targets.

Working with the Production Supervisor, learn how to organise and assign staff to production, cleaning, and housekeeping duties to ensure daily schedules, cleaning and housekeeping regimes are completed in a satisfactory and timely manner.

Adhere to and maintain safe working practices. This includes Quality Control (‘QA’), Workplace Health & Safety and Training.

Qualifications and Technical Requirements:

Certificate III in Management would be a benefit.

Commensurate with the demonstration of the skills required. Guideline as per the Dry Cleaning & Laundry Workers Award.

To be successful, you will be required to demonstrated how you can achieve the key responsibilities above. Experience in commercial laundry production environment or similar would be advantageous.
