Two roles ready to start ASAP! A Team Leader for our Food Outlet shop area AND a Retail trainee position.

The TWIN RIVERS CENTRE Food Outlet has been operating for over 27 years. It started with some tables and boxes out of the back of a truck. We now reach and help over 100,000 customers annually by providing low cost goods to the Logan area and beyond!

The Food Outlet is part of The Twin Rivers Centre who are a leading non-profit community based organisation in the Logan region. Our vision is to Connect, Build and Equip people for success in all areas of life.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking two dedicated, enthusiastic and dependable individuals to join the team at the Food Outlet on a full time basis. INDICATE IN YOUR COVER LETTER WHICH ROLE YOU ARE APPLYING FOR!

TEAM LEADER POSITION:

Assist in leading and supervising employees to achieve goals that contribute to the growth of the organisation.

Contribute to cultivating team motivation and inspiration by creating an environment that promotes positive communication and encourages team bonding.

Display proficiency in assigning tasks to team members, including those you'll aid in overseeing.

Demonstrate through your actions the value of constructive communication and exhibit kindness and compassion to customers, volunteers and staff.

Operate under the guidance of managers and supervisors.

Convey progress updates to higher-level management.

Perform a range of operational duties within (primarily) the shop area.

Must be flexible on days and hours. Generally working Tuesday - Saturday or Monday - Friday.

RETAIL TRAINEE POSITION:

Full time role in retail traineeship; working across all areas of the Food Oultet - Shop, Warehouse, Cold room, Freezers.

Applicants must be 18 years or older to be eligible for this position.

Role requires moderate physical capability including lifting up to 10-15kg for warehouse duties.

Study Cert III in Retail on the job each fortnight!

Entry level role!!!

Retail or warehouse experience is a plus, and certifications in Forklift, HR truck, WH&S Retail, Warehousing, or first aid will set you apart.
