Key Responsibilities
Lead mechanical design and development of Class II/III medical devices
Lead mechanical design of precision titanium components for next-generation artificial heart
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (biomedical, electrical, regulatory) from concept to commercialisation
Perform FEA, tolerance analysis, and design for manufacturability
Support regulatory submissions (ISO 13485, FDA 510(k)) through technical documentation
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
5+ years of experience in product development, preferably in medtech or high-precision industries
Class II/III medical device development experience required
Proficiency in SolidWorks, ANSYS, and rapid prototyping tools
Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, biomechanics, and materials science
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
