We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with proven roll forming experience to join the team in Meadowbrook. In this full-time role, you’ll take projects from concept through to completion, creating practical, cost-effective designs that meet client requirements and industry standards.

Working closely with production, electrical, fabrication, procurement, and business development teams, you’ll play a key role in delivering solutions that align with customer needs and company goals.

What will you be doing?

• Designing and developing roll forming machinery and related equipment
• Creating detailed 3D CAD models and drawings (AutoCAD Inventor preferred)
• Applying FEA and engineering principles to ensure robust, efficient designs
• Managing projects from concept design through to manufacture and delivery
• Liaising with production, fabrication, and procurement teams to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective
• Ensuring compliance with customer requirements, Australian Standards, and internal quality processes
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across design and manufacturing

What do you need?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent qualification/experience)
• Proven roll forming design experience (essential)
• Strong proficiency in 3D CAD (AutoCAD Inventor preferred) and FEA software
• Solid knowledge of Australian engineering standards and regulatory requirements
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• High level of organisation, accuracy, and attention to detail
