As a strategic advisor and collaborative problem-solver, you will partner with leaders across the business to align HR strategies with organisational goals. From employee relations and workforce planning to performance development and compliance, you’ll play a key role in enhancing our culture and capability.
What you’ll do:
- Partner with managers to deliver timely, practical, and people-centred HR solutions.
- Lead employee relations, support workforce planning, and promote a culture of inclusion and engagement.
- Guide performance management processes and provide coaching to leaders.
- Drive improvement of HR initiatives including induction, recruitment, policy development, and compliance.
- Champion best practice and ensure alignment with employment legislation and organisational values.
What you’ll bring:
- A strong background in HR, with relevant qualifications and experience in advisory or business partnering roles.
- Excellent knowledge of employment law, modern HR practices, and employee relations.
- High-level communication, conflict resolution, and influencing skills.
- A proactive and resilient mindset with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
- Experience working in or with government, and knowledge of the Local Government Act 1995 is desirable.
