
Team Leader - Debt Resolution

As the Team Leader Debt Resolution, you will lead, motivate, and empower a team of people to deliver effective and efficient debt recovery outcomes in circumstances where customers may be impacted or at risk of an act of insolvency.
The role is based in the Queensland Revenue Office's (QRO) Revenue Collections team which is responsible for managing the collection and recovery of debts owed to the state government.
Your typical day as a Team Leader Debt Resolution may include:
• Planning, measuring and monitoring the team's enforcement activities to ensure timely delivery of high quality work.
• Building team and individual development through effective quality assurance programs, targeted training plans and effective coaching strategies.
• Actively progressing business improvement opportunities to streamline processes and systems to support staff and improve client service.
• Applying technical expertise to manage more challenging client interactions to appropriate resolution.
• Embedding practices and processes which support sound governance.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to resolve issues and progress business improvements and change management processes.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
• Working knowledge of digital and data technology / systems.
• Strong negotiation Skills and resilience.
