About the Opportunity:
John Paul College is seeking inspiring educational leaders to join our Primary School as Learning Leaders across three exciting stage-based positions.
These are unique 4-year opportunities that will provide operational and instructional leadership while remaining embedded in the daily life of our school community.
As part of our Primary School Leadership Team structure, Learning Leaders work under the direction of our Deans to translate strategic priorities into impactful classroom practice.
These roles will play a pivotal role in building teacher capacity, supporting curriculum implementation, and enhancing student outcomes through targeted, data-informed action.
The stage allocations are as follows:
Learning Leader – Prep to Year 2
Learning Leader – Years 3–4 (with oversight of Visual Arts & Music)
Learning Leader – Years 5–6 (with oversight of HPE and Languages)
The Learning Leader role is perfect for educators who want to:
Drive high-impact, evidence-informed teaching aligned with our Pedagogical Framework and IB Primary Years Programme
Lead through coaching, mentoring, and capacity-building initiatives
Deliver targeted interventions based on student data and identified needs
Support Year Level Coordinators and teaching teams in collaborative planning
Facilitate professional learning opportunities and conduct learning walks
Ensure alignment between curriculum delivery, pedagogical practice, and student wellbeing
Coordinate year-level events, manage resources, and provide in-class coverage as needed
These are a highly collaborative leadership roles suited to accomplished educators who can influence practice, build relationships, and create measurable impact on student learning.

Qualifications & Compliance
Current QCT registration and relevant teaching qualifications (Master’s degree in Education or related field preferred).
Current First Aid certification.
Eligibility to work in Australia.
