StarX Technology Solution is a growing Australian technology company. We design and build websites, mobile apps, and custom software that help clients grow and run their businesses. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our clients and our technical development teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1-3 years of experience to deepen their analytical skills, manage key client relationships, and drive the successful delivery of projects from conception to launch.

You will be the key liaison who gathers client needs, translates them into clear requirements, and ensures our development team is building the right solution, on time.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement & Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, conducting meetings to understand their business objectives, processes, and challenges. Act as the conduit between clients, stakeholders, and the internal development team to ensure clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements Analysis: Elicit, analyse, validate, and document business and functional requirements using user stories, use cases, process flows, and wireframes.

Development Tracking: Work within Agile/Scrum frameworks to maintain the product backlog, prioritise features, and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups to track development status.

Solution Validation: Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the delivered solution meets the client's requirements. Create and maintain essential project documentation including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), functional specifications, and user manuals.

What We're Looking For:

Experience: 1-3 years of professional experience in a Business Analyst role within an IT or software development environment.

Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to break down complex problems, analyze business processes, and think critically to propose effective solutions.

Superb Communication: Exceptional English And Mandarin verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to facilitate workshops, lead discussions, and present ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and maintain a sharp attention to detail.

Technical Acumen: A solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar is highly regarded.
