About the role
The Technical and Data Business Analyst (Curriculum and Student) is responsible for leading the ongoing system development of the Curriculum Management System with the goal of systemising and automating UNE’s course and unit approval processes and student facing information. The role will work in partnership with UNE stakeholders and vendor to support the curriculum system and report to the Manager, Student Systems. The role will also provide support of the Student Management System during peak business cycles. This role may include supervision of staff.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Extensive experience with business and/or system process analysis providing positive outcomes to stakeholders through business process improvement
Independent problem-solving and analytical strategic thinking to inform decisions
Outstanding interpersonal, consultative and negotiating skills to achieve effective process outcomes
Capability to interpret business requirements and develop reports to support stakeholders
Ability to work and analyse issues across multiple complex systems

Technology & Digital Services (TDS) provides high quality Information and Communications Technology services to underpin the mission and aspirations of the University. This is achieved by understanding our customers’ needs, by demonstrating ICT leadership, and by producing cost-effective and innovative outcomes. The Directorate consists of a portfolio of discreet but interconnected teams, focused on the following service areas: Cloud Infrastructure Services, Information Services, Client Services, and Cyber Security. This role is part of the Business Services team.
