Role Summary

We are seeking a end-to-end Senior Business Analyst to support the delivery of a key transformation program. This is a critical role for someone who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring platform changes are implemented effectively and aligned with operational and strategic goals.

You'll be responsible for gathering requirements, mapping current and future state processes, and supporting the successful delivery of features and functionality across legacy and next-generation platforms. A strong understanding of investment products and trading platform systems will be key.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end business analysis across product/platform migration and system integration initiatives

Work with stakeholders to gather, define, and prioritise business, functional, and technical requirements

Analyse existing systems, workflows, and data structures to support target state design and gap analysis

Document current and future state processes, data flows, and integration points

Translate business needs into detailed functional specs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution design documentation

Support data migration activities including mapping, validation, and reconciliation

Assist in UAT planning, test case creation, and defect triage

Coordinate with internal IT, vendors, and product teams to ensure aligned delivery

Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and demo sessions

Provide post-implementation support and help drive continuous improvement

About You

5+ years of Business Analyst experience with prior end to end project experience within Asset Management or investment platforms, or similar.

Proven experience working on platform or product migrations within financial services

Strong functional knowledge of financial operations, ideally including trading, settlements, or client onboarding

Technically confident - able to interface with developers, data engineers, and solution architects

Experience analysing workflows, creating data mappings, and interpreting integration requirements

Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks and tools like Jira, Confluence, and process modelling software

Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills

A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment

Desirable Skills

Exposure to investment/trading systems (e.g. Calypso, Charles River, IRESS, Bloomberg, etc.)

Experience with API-based integration, ETL/data transformation, or SQL for data validation

Experience in vendor onboarding or third-party system integration

• Background in consulting (i.e KPMG, EY etc)
