Position Summary

We are seeking a Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The role will play a key part in understanding requirements, mapping processes, and supporting the design of scalable solutions across our digital ecosystem. The Business Analyst will collaborate closely with product, operations, compliance, and engineering teams to ensure solutions deliver tangible business value while maintaining alignment with NLA’s growth strategy and regulatory obligations.

Responsibilities

Engage with stakeholders across operations, settlements, sales, and compliance to understand business challenges and objectives.

Translate requirements into clear business cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Analyse existing workflows and identify opportunities for automation and optimisation.

Document end-to-end processes, ensuring visibility of dependencies, risks, and compliance checkpoints.

Identify pain points and inefficiencies, recommending improvements that enhance efficiency and customer experience.

Support change management by ensuring processes are practical and well-adopted.

Work with product managers and developers to align business requirements with technical delivery.

Validate and test system enhancements, ensuring solutions meet functional requirements.

Assist with UAT, training, and rollout activities.

Gather and analyse data to support decision-making, risk management, and performance reporting.

Define business reporting requirements, contribute to the design of dashboards, and KPIs for operational needs.

Act as a trusted partner to internal teams, finance partners, and dealer networks.

Ensure clear communication of business requirements, changes, and outcomes across stakeholder groups.

Skills & Experience

Essential

3–5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within financial services, fintech, or SaaS.

Strong experience documenting requirements, process mapping, and developing user stories.

Demonstrated ability to analyse data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable

Experience with compliance-driven environments

Exposure to novated leasing, auto finance, or salary packaging is an advantage
