About the Role

TRUCK TECH is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Dandenong team on day shift (Monday to Friday, 6am–3pm). You’ll work on trucks, trailers, and buses in a modern, fully equipped workshop using the latest diagnostic tools and technology.

This is a full-time, permanent role offering:
A base rate of $43–$48 per hour + super + uncapped monthly bonuses (average $1,500 extra per month)

Duties

Diagnose and repair faults on trucks, trailers, and buses

Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance

Use advanced diagnostic technology in a clean, modern workshop

Communicate effectively with service advisors, customers, and team members

Identify and report new issues, ensuring timely follow-up

Skills & Experience

Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (Essential)

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic working on heavy vehicles

Full, valid Australian work rights (Essential)

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
