We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled full time Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, based in our busy workshop in Laverton North VIC.

Reporting directly to the Fleet Manager, the successful candidate will work on a fleet of Heavy Waste vehicles. Tasks will involve but not be limited to the following:

General mechanical works

Both major and minor repairs

Carrying out breakdown repairs

Scheduled service maintenance

The successful applicant will possess:

Trade certification in Heavy Diesel Mechanical.

A current rigid truck driver's license

Familiarity with Quality Assurance & Occupational Health & Safety

Self-motivation skills

Good communication and organisational skills

A generous rate will be negotiated, depending on experience.
