About the role
Blue NRG Pty Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Marketing Team Lead to join our dynamic team in our Melbourne office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving our sales and marketing strategies to further expand our customer base and brand presence in the energy sector.
What you'll be doing
Create an inspirational work environment by defining and communicating a compelling vision of the future, aligned with the broader leadership team.
Ensure that teams understand and engage with what success looks like for them.
Develop the team’s sales and pipeline management capabilities to support business objectives.
Cascade and track team/individual goals and objectives, including training and development.
Foster a team environment that promotes growth, openness, trust, challenge, and development, supporting individuals to reach their full potential.
Encourage innovation across the team to drive efficiencies, celebrating achievements along the way.
Assist in building strong relationships with channel partners and their teams, while launching products with energy and enthusiasm to drive motivation and maximize sales potential.
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years' experience in a sales and marketing role, ideally within the energy or utilities industry
Minimum 2 year of experience managing large complex tenders, buying groups, aggregator
Minimum of 5 years sales experience with demonstrable success in a similar role and a successful track record in closing sales.
Significant experience in business development sales roles with B2B experience in Large sales organisations;
Proven experience in the development and achievement of executable B2B sales strategies and campaigns, within a broader integrated business structure and planning framework;
Proven experience in transforming a sales operation with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities;
A proven, successful track record in delivering business improvements in a sales operation in a competitive and complex business environment;
Demonstrable track record in the execution of strategic plans and objectives.
Proven track record of building a sizeable sales pipeline quickly.
Experience in building sales success with direct sales team.
Experience in management and leadership.
A strong knowledge of how innovation and marketing can be leveraged to boost direct and channel sales.
Exceptional deployment of sales tactics, and highly developed relationship-building and negotiation skills.
