About the Role
Kingsway Indoor Stadium is seeking a fun & enthusiastic individual who has a passion to work in the sport & recreation industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the stadium’s popular sporting competitions. The successful appointee will be responsible for:

• Co-ordinating all sporting competitions at Kingsway Indoor Stadium
• Leading a small team of casual sport umpires
• Increasing team participation across all sporting competitions at Kingsway Indoor Stadium.
• Assist in leading the daily operations at Kingsway Indoor Stadium,
• Assisting with the development & delivery of the stadium’s marketing & promotions plan,
• Participating in business development and implementation of initiatives in line with key business and performance targets

About You
As a collaborative member of the Kingsway team, the position is accountable for delivering a high standard of well-organised sporting competitions and a high level of customer service. Applicants must be able to demonstrate through their CV and covering letter that they meet the following capabilities:

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment,
• Ability to work in high pressure situations,
• Experience in the development and delivery of leisure and sports programs,
• Proven communication and customer service skills,
• Knowledge of the practical application of Occupational Safety & health measures within a leisure facility environment.

You be successful in this role, the following requirements will also need to be met:

• Qualification in relevant discipline such as Business, management or Sports & Recreation is desirable
• Relevant experience in a similar role is desirable
• First Aid Certificate,
• Working with Children Check.
