The Role

PHSA are seeking an Operations Manager in Sydney (Sutherland) specifically working across Vocational Assessment Service delivery.

The role of Operations Manager within PHSA involves:

• Induction, training and mentoring of Rehabilitation Consultants and Labour Market Assessors

• Selection, recruitment and retention of industry leading Rehabilitation Consultants and Labour Market Assessors

• Supporting our General Management Team to ensure maintenance of daily operations in Quality, Performance, Productivity and retention of staff

• Managing end to end process around vocational assessment, labour market assessment, reporting and quality

Essential Criteria

• Rehabilitation Counsellor (Full ASORC membership) or Psychologist (Registered) with AHPRA

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working within NSW workplace rehabilitation service delivery as a Rehabilitation Consultant completing Vocational Assessments

• Minimum 2 years managerial experience preferably within workplace rehabilitation industry

• Technical specialist in completion of vocational assessments and labour market assessments in line with NSW workers compensation legislation

• Demonstrated leadership skills

• Ability to work from Sutherland office (minimum 2 days per week preferred but can be negotiated for the right applicant)

• Demonstrated ability to exceed KPIs and meet report timeframes, or demonstrated ability to support team members in achieving these

• Exceptional time management and organisational skills, ability to work under pressure and manage a competing workload

• Demonstrated core leadership qualities such as ability to mentor consultants, provide feedback and coaching

• Experience in quality proofing of reports and strategic file reviews

• A genuine desire to support team members to be the best they can be in their role
