Position Overview:

As an Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our organisation, ensuring all services are delivered efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with NDIS standards. You will drive operational excellence, improve processes, and lead a dedicated team to deliver top-notch support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, rostering, ensuring alignment with company goals and NDIS standards. Develop and implement policies to improve efficiency.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the operations team. Conduct performance reviews and provide development opportunities.

Client Services: Ensure high-quality service delivery. Address any client issues promptly and effectively.

Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with NDIS standards. Conduct regular audits to maintain high service quality.

Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic plans and identify opportunities for growth. Develop action plans to achieve goals.

Financial Management: Manage budgets efficiently. Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients, families, staff, and other stakeholders. Represent the organisation at industry events.

Crisis Management: Handle operational crises and develop risk management strategies.

What We’re Looking For:

Education: Relevant degree in health services, disability, social work, human services, or business.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in operations management, rostering preferably within the NDIS, Aged Care or healthcare sector.

Skills: Strong leadership, supervisory, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience in managing service schedules, rosters, budgets and financial resources. Experience in using rostering software, preferably VisualCare and Shiftcare.

Attributes: Ability to handle high-stress situations, manage multiple priorities, and maintain compliance and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in strategic planning and implementation within the NDIS or healthcare sector.

Ability to develop and implement operational policies and procedures.

Experience in conducting audits and assessments for quality assurance.

Strong stakeholder relationship management skills.
