Leading, mentoring, and managing warehouse staff to achieve KPIs and ensure accountability.
Overseeing receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns management.
Ensuring compliance with Trusted Trader and ABF guidelines, including accurate record-keeping, security, and reporting obligations.
Monitoring and improving KPIs such as order accuracy, dispatch timelines, damage rates, and inventory variance.
Maintaining stock integrity and accuracy using warehouse management systems (WMS) and integrated ERP platforms (e.g. NetSuite).
Preparing and delivering detailed operational reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) covering productivity, costs, compliance, and risk management.
Managing and reconciling stocktakes with full audit traceability.
Working with stakeholders for planning capacity for seasonal peaks, promotions, and new product launches.
Managing operational costs and budgets, including labour forecasting and resource allocation.
Coordinating supplier deliveries, unloading pallets, and overseeing safe and efficient storage.
Ensuring WHS compliance, maintaining policies and procedures, and delivering staff safety training.
Liaising with landlords and contractors for building and equipment maintenance.
Ensuring warehouse and vehicle security is maintained to Trusted Trader and company standards.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years’ warehouse management experience (liquor, FMCG, or logistics desirable).
Strong understanding of Australian Trusted Trader guidelines and compliance frameworks.
Proven experience with inventory control, WMS, and ERP systems (NetSuite highly regarded).
Strong reporting skills with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
Forklift licence (Order Picker licence desirable), experience training.
Strong leadership and communication skills with experience motivating teams.
Good computer literacy, numeracy, and attention to detail.
Current driver’s licence.
Ability to pass pre-employment police, medical, drug, and alcohol checks.
Wine knowledge is a plus, but not essential.
Why Join Us?
Work with a premium fine wine & spirits business with a strong industry reputation.
Day shifts – Monday to Friday.
Employee wine discounts and opportunities to deepen your product knowledge.
A role with autonomy, responsibility, and compliance leadership.
Collaborative, supportive team culture with scope for innovation.
Applicants should also be aware that the warehouse may relocate within a one-hour radius of the current site in future, and flexibility to travel to a new location will be required.
