This is an exciting opportunity for a Payroll and Accounts Payable Officer to work in an established construction company on Sydney's North Shore

This is a permanent full-time position so does require someone with Permanent Residency or Citizenship

The Role:

• End-to-end management of Accounts Payable
• Setting up new suppliers
• Seeking invoice approvals
• Enter purchase orders into system
• Matching invoices to purchase orders
• Generating payment runs weekly and end of month
• Account and credit card reconciliation
• Processing end-to-end payroll, including all relevant payments and statutory obligations
• Maintaining employee records such as new hires, terminations, pay adjustments and leave
• Preparing payroll reconciliations, reports, and financial summaries to support management and compliance
  
• Responding to payroll enquiries and producing reports as needed

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience within an Accounts Payable position
• Experience within Accounts Payable within the Construction Industry
• Demonstrated experience with Payroll processing within the Construction Industry
• Working knowledge of large ERP systems specific to the Construction Industry and MS Excel
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
