Export Manager

Total Food Network is a Food Export operator who also owns a warehouse in PNG. Total Food Network exports various food items and non food items to PNG mines and other hospitality businesses.

There is an opportunity for someone to join our export division and oversee all operations.

This role requires great leadership skill whilst ability to be hands on when required.

There will be up to 8 staff that will be managed by this position.

This role will include overlooking following processes

· Customer Quotes

· Sourcing of Stock

· Arranging delivery of stock

· Booking appropriate freight

· Compiling paperwork through EXDOC/NEXDOC system as required operated through the EDISOFT System Platform.

· Competent in all aspects of the logistical movement of Containers and Air Freight.

· Loading of Containers

· Liaising with PNG office for clearance requirements if any?

· Invoicing order to customer

· Approving any expense invoices.

Key Skills / Attributes:

· Experience in Export, International Sales/Account Management.

· Communicating with Suppliers about product and timeframes inventory is required.

· Management of Staff.

· Effective communication via various platforms and channels.

· Experience in International Trade Regulations & Compliance predominantly in PNG

· Good cultural awareness.

· Ensure all export activities comply with international trade regulations, local laws, and internal policies.

· Manage export documentation, including shipping, customs, and tax documentation.

· manage the export process, including shipping, distribution, and inventory management.

· Coordinate logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods

· Address any logistical challenges

· Excellent MS software skills to produce reports

· Understanding or direct experience in managing export market

· Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a team environment

· A resourceful and resilient approach to problem solving.

· Knowledge of raising Export Documents through Edisoft Platform.
