About the role
This position is responsible for the overall management ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective comprehensive primary health care services in the Moreton ATSICHS clinics to clients, in line with the IUIH Model of Care. The scope of the position includes business planning, administration, financial management, leadership, and oversight of health service quality and safety to meet the key performance indicators and maximizing Medicare.
Day to Day duties Include
- Manage Clinic performance and lead strategies, in line with the IUIH MoC and agreed key performance indicators, to provide comprehensive, holistic and culturally appropriate primary health care services to clients.
- Responsible for monitoring, ordering, receiving and disposal of vaccines in accordance with IUIH cold chain management policy and procedures
- Ensure effective care coordination and case management approaches with clients for health and wellbeing services and ensure effective client recall practices and seamless client service(s) across the range of Services provided by MATSICHS
- Responsible for overseeing the operations, performance and profitability of the clinic to deliver on operational and strategic goals and objectives
- Conduct performance check-ins and provide feedback to support professional growth.
- Work closely with the MATSICHS Operations Manager to review, monitor and improve systems against agreed indicators (i.e. identify gaps in business processes and service delivery, and formulate responses to address these)
About you

- Previous experience within an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Service
- Previous experience working with an electronic Patient Management System e.g. MMEX (electronic medical appointment system)
- Qualification in Business, Management, Health, Nursing and/ or Allied Health
- Demonstrated high level communication skills and confidence in interpersonal communication
- Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD)
- Current Criminal History Check
- Current Working with Children Check (QLD Blue Card)
- Current Disability Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
- Current CPR Certificate
