About the role

We are seeking a talented Ceiling & Partition Estimator to join our dynamic team at best interior pty ltd in Coopers Plains, Queensland. As a full-time Ceiling & Partition Estimator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our construction projects by providing accurate and detailed cost estimates. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth of our company.

What you'll be doing

Prepare detailed cost estimates for ceiling and partition installation projects

Analyze construction plans, drawings, and specifications to determine material requirements and labour costs

Collaborate with project managers and procurement teams to ensure accurate and timely estimates

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and cost fluctuations to provide the most competitive estimates

Assist in the preparation of tender submissions and proposals

Maintain detailed records and documentation of all estimating activities

Provide support to the construction team during the project execution phase

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Ceiling & Partition Estimator in the construction industry

Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and equipment

Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications

Excellent mathematical and analytical skills to perform accurate cost calculations

Familiarity with construction estimating software and tools

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

A proactive and detail-oriented approach to ensure project success
