Job Title: Asphalt Estimator

About the Role
We’re looking for an Asphalt Estimator to join a growing business that delivers high quality road construction and maintenance solutions across South-East Queensland. From major infrastructure projects to spray sealing, profiling, crew hire and smaller urgent works, this is a business that’s expanding quickly and creating plenty of opportunities for its people.

This role is perfect for someone with at least 1 year of experience in asphalt estimating who’s keen to be part of a fun, collaborative office environment where hard work is recognised and growth is encouraged.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reviewing tender packages and producing accurate, competitive estimates

Working closely with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams to source pricing and confirm availability

Preparing estimates for asphalt, spray seal, profiling, cartage, plant and labour

Assisting with bid documents and tender submissions to ensure high-quality presentations

Tracking and learning from past tenders to continuously improve estimating processes

Collaborating with project and site teams to understand scope, risks and opportunities

What We’re Looking For

At least 1 year of experience as an asphalt estimator (civil, roads or construction background highly regarded)

Strong numeracy and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tenders at once

Confidence with spreadsheets, digital tender platforms or estimating software

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with both office and site-based teams

Someone eager to grow, learn and build a long-term career in the industry
