Clinical Care Coordinator – Mental Health
Location: Bondi Junction, Sydney, NSW (On-site, 5 days per week)
Company: Dokotela
About Us
At Dokotela, we’re redefining access to mental health care. Partnering with Primary Health Networks (PHNs) and a range of third-party clients, we deliver innovative programs that connect people with the support they need — when and where they need it. Our team is passionate about breaking barriers to care and creating brighter futures across Australia.
The Role
We’re on the lookout for a Clinical Care Coordinator who thrives on making a difference. Based at our Bondi Junction office five days per week, you’ll be the central link between patients, psychiatrists, GPs, and support services.
Your role spans from first contact through to ongoing care, ensuring patients feel supported, heard, and guided every step of the way. The position also includes set clinical days, scheduled as required, where you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting clinic operations.
Please note: this role is open only to candidates with permanent working rights in Australia.
This is more than an administrative role — it’s about building trust, smoothing care pathways, and helping clients achieve better mental health outcomes.
What You’ll Be Doing
Conduct patient intake and follow-ups, tracking progress with outcome measures
Coordinate referrals to psychiatrists, GPs, and support services
Keep patient records accurate, complete, and up to date
Be the go-to point of contact between clients and clinicians
Support scheduled clinical days and ensure smooth clinic operations
Work across programs delivered in partnership with PHNs and third-party clients
Contribute to continuous improvement of programs and client experience
What We’re Looking For
A natural organiser who can juggle priorities with ease
Strong written and verbal communication skills — you can connect with anyone
Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused
Sharp attention to detail (nothing slips past you)
Preferred qualifications and experience:
HSC, diploma, or degree in psychology, counselling, mental health (or similar)
6–12 months in customer service or within a mental health/healthcare setting
Knowledge of the Australian healthcare system (highly valued)
Contact centre or medical centre experience a bonus
Current Australian driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (travel required)
Permanent working rights in Australia (essential)
Why Join Dokotela?
Be part of a purpose-driven organisation that’s changing the face of mental health care
Work in a supportive, collaborative environment where your contribution matters
Grow your skills and career in a role that makes a real, lasting impact
