Job description
Our leading client is a leading logistics company specialising in the transportation and installation of commercial furniture. They are seeking an experienced and reliable Project and warehouse Coordinator to join their professional team on a full-time basis, coordinating furniture projects to commercial locations around Melbourne.
Your Responsibilities:
Assist with quotes, project submissions & tenders.
Scheduling & co-ordination of projects on a national footprint.
Order entry, invoicing, and stock allocations.
Delivery schedule follow ups with suppliers
Collaborative team work to assist with creating a strong team culture.
Labelling and putting away furniture
Picking of furniture for jobs being delivered
Marking off the daily trucks in the mornings and afternoons, confirming all stock is accounted for.
Accurately marking off supplier invoices of new stock
Maintaining the compliance, comradery & cleanliness in the warehouse
Container unloading and maintaining a well organised warehouse.
Installation, delivery, placement and removal of furniture items on large projects
Undertaking manual handling tasks in a safe and efficient manner
High level customer focus and liaising
Metropolitan and regional travel involved.
Experience & attributes:
MR license and forklift license advantageous but not a necessity
Furniture experience an advantage
Good physical fitness & ability to safely lift and move objects
Exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced quick turn-around work environment.
Proven ability to take ownership of delegated tasks with demonstrated initiative and time management skills.
A desire to be challenged and to expand your skill set.
Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast paced environment.
Availability for work 5 days per week plus required overtime
Good communication skills
Self-motivation with a confident attitude & work ethic

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday

Australia (Preferred)
