About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our team at Boronia Veterinary Clinic and Animal Hospital. This is a part-time position involving greeting clients, appointment bookings, and delivering excellent customer service. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for everyone visiting our clinic.

What you'll be doing

Liaise and greet clients when they arrive.

Efficiently managing multiple incoming phone calls.

Booking appointments and handling client inquiries.

Performing clerical tasks, including managing emails and medical record requests.

Keeping the reception area organised and presentable at all times.

Providing exceptional customer service to all clients.

What we're looking for

Prior reception and customer service experience (essential).

Experience in a medical or veterinary setting (an advantage, but not essential).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Ability to multitask, work under pressure, follow direction, and collaborate within a team.

A compassionate, professional manner when supporting clients.

Availability for weekend shifts (penalty rates apply).

Please note: This is not a clinical nursing role and is not suitable for those seeking experience toward Certificate IV nursing courses.
