Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects including managing PCGs (Project Control Groups), status reporting, contracts, budgets, and timelines.
• Work closely with designers, suppliers, contractors, consultants, utilities, and internal teams to meet project goals.
• Prepare tender requests, review specifications and drawings, and manage contract administration.
• Oversee projects from design through construction, including stakeholder consultation and liaison with government bodies.
• Report regularly to the Manager Works and Projects and other stakeholders.
• Make informed decisions regarding budgets, engineering practices, tender and contract issues.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with all stakeholders.
• Conduct regular project meetings and manage procurement and scheduling.
• Identify risks, develop management strategies, and ensure professional project management within defined parameters.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant qualifications in Building Construction Project Management or extensive related experience.
• Class C driver's licence.
• WHS Construction Induction Certification.
• 2 to 5 years’ experience managing multiple projects end-to-end, especially in buildings.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience working in local government.
