ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Project Officer, you will be responsible for providing effective project management and site representation across a range of projects, including direct management of contract works, and providing support to Project Managers in daily tasks, including scheduling meetings, organising resources, and tracking project progress.

DUTIES

• Assist in tracking project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation, ensuring adherence to financial constraints
• Undertake routine monitoring of technical, quality, environment and WHS compliance
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and risk assessments
• Identify potential project risks and issues, assisting in the development of mitigation strategies

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and a practical, solution-focused mindset
• Basic AutoCAD skills and understanding of construction plans
• Some experience in project management, contract management, or asset inspection is ideal, but not essential
• Class C Driver Licence
