Comfort Zone Ventilation & Coatings Pty Ltd is a growing and successful business that was established in 1998. We provide innovative ventilation solutions, designing, installing, and servicing Mechanical Ventilation and Electrical Systems for residential and commercial buildings across Sydney.
With over 27 years of experience, our focus is on delivering reliable solutions, great customer service, and building long term relationships.
The Role
We're looking for a full time team member to join our showroom/store in Pymble. This is a hands on, varied role that combines sales, customer service, office administration, and project coordination.
You'll work Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, supporting our clients, suppliers, and internal team.
Day to day tasks include:
Generating quotations, invoices & purchase orders
Scheduling services and coordinating jobs
Responding to phone calls and emails
Assisting walk in clients, tradespeople, and suppliers in the showroom
Packing and dispatching customer orders
Receiving incoming goods
Project administration and customer follow up
Sketching simple designs onto floor plans (basic)
Training & Support
We don't expect you to know everything on day one. Comprehensive training and support will be provided to help you learn our systems, processes, and products. This role also offers professional development and opportunities to upskill as you grow with the business.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
Full Australian working rights
Certificate III or IV in the building industry (preferred)
Current OH&S White Card
Police clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Tech savvy with good computer literacy
A positive attitude, neat presentation, and commitment to safe work practices
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Contactable trade references
3-5 years of building industry experience
