Role Overview
The Project Officer provides administrative, coordination, and operational support to ensure the successful delivery of projects within agreed scope, time, and budget. This role involves liaising with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to facilitate smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of projects from initiation to completion.
• Monitor project progress and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Prepare and update project documentation, including plans, reports, and risk registers.
• Support budgeting, procurement, and resource allocation for project activities.
• Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes and action items.
• Coordinate communication among stakeholders and maintain accurate project records.
• Assist in identifying risks, issues, and opportunities, and escalate as needed.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, and contribute information as required
  - Provide research into organisations requesting support

Essential experience

• tertiary qualifications at a degree level in a relevant discipline such as Social Development, Project Management, Commerce and / or demonstrated equivalent competencies gained through experience.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft package (Excel essential)
