We’re on the hunt for a Guest Service Agent who’s all about creating great first impressions and unforgettable guest experiences. If you love helping people, solving problems with a smile, and keeping things running like clockwork—this is your moment!
As the face of Quest Eight Mile Plains, you’ll be the go-to person for guests from the moment they arrive to the moment they check out. You’ll handle reservations, manage the front office inbox, process payments, and make sure every guest leaves with a smile (and maybe even a glowing review!).
This role is perfect for someone who’s energetic, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
Shifts That Fit Your Lifestyle (and Keep Things Interesting!)
We’re looking for someone who can work 28-36 hours per week. We're open 365 days a year, from 7am to 10pm, and our team rotates through three shift types:
☀️ AM Shift: 7am–3pm — Start your day with coffee and good vibes
🌤️ Mid Shift: 12pm–8pm — Perfect for those who love a balanced day
🌙 PM Shift: 2pm–10pm — Night owls, this one’s for you!
We’re looking for someone who’s flexible, reliable, and ready to jump into any shift—whether it’s a sunny Monday morning or a festive public holiday. While we do offer some flexibility, our ideal teammate is available across all shifts and excited to be part of a dynamic hospitality environment.

As our Guest Service Agent, you’ll be the go-to person for guests and the behind-the-scenes hero who keeps everything running smoothly. Here’s what your day might look like:
Roll out the red carpet – Greet guests with a warm smile and make check-in a breeze
Be the local legend – Answer questions, share insider tips, and help guests make the most of their stay
Master the bookings – Handle reservations, check-outs, and payments like a pro
Keep it updated – Maintain the reservation system and front office inbox
Solve with style – Jump on guest requests and resolve issues quickly and with care
Room wrangler – Manage room allocations, rooming lists, and booking charts
Foodie facilitator – Take room service and restaurant partner orders
Team player vibes – Work closely with housekeeping and other departments to deliver seamless service
Policy pro – Follow hotel procedures while keeping the guest experience top-notch
Early bird duties – Open the hotel and get the day started (AM Shift)
Wrap up the day like a pro – Close the hotel, complete the night audit, and prep everything for a smooth start tomorrow (PM Shift)
What You’ll Bring to the Team 💼✨

Customer Service pro – You’ve got 1–2 years of experience in tourism, hospitality, retail or front desk customer service
Independent thinker – You’re confident working solo and making smart decisions
People person – Your communication skills are top-notch, and you present yourself professionally
Problem solver – You tackle challenges head-on and always look for ways to improve the guest experience
Tech-savvy – You’re comfortable with booking systems (RMS Cloud is a bonus!) and Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
Licensed to drive – Manual or automatic, you’ve got a current driver’s licence
Multitasking master – You thrive in busy environments and keep cool under pressure
Shift-flexible – You’re available for mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Positive vibes only – You bring energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for helping others
Bonus points – Studying or completed a Hotel/Tourism degree or diploma? We love that!
