Guest Service Agent/Housekeeper
Quest Rockhampton is seeking a dedicated Guest Service Agent/Housekeeper to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. This is a great opportunity to work in a beautiful property and be part of a close-knit, friendly team under the highly successful and established Quest Apartment Hotels brand.

The Role
Guest Service Agent Responsibilities:
Manage all front office reception tasks, including check-in and check-out procedures.
Provide personalised, friendly customer service.
Handle accommodation inquiries and process reservations accurately.
Promote and sell our accommodation services to achieve sales goals.
Assist guests with information about hotel facilities and the local area.
Ensure the reception desk runs smoothly and efficiently.
Housekeeping Responsibilities:
Clean and service guest apartments and common areas to the highest standards.
Ensure the property's presentation meets or exceeds guest expectations.
Address guest requests promptly and professionally.
Report any maintenance issues.
Interact with guests to ensure they have a comfortable and effortless stay.
The Roster
You'll work on a two-week rotating roster with guaranteed days off each week. You will always have two consecutive days off. Your workday typically begins at 9 a.m. with housekeeping duties and transitions to reception in the evenings to assist with the busy check-in period. You will work one full weekend and have every second Saturday off. This schedule is ideal for a university student.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone with a passion for customer service and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will also have:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
Experience with front office booking systems.
Strong sales skills to promote accommodation services.
High standards of personal presentation.
A positive, team-oriented mindset.
While prior experience in hospitality, travel, or tourism is highly regarded, it is not essential. We will provide all the necessary training to ensure our brand standards are met. This role requires availability to work a 7-day rotating roster, including public holidays. You must also have the legal right to work in Australia.
