CASUAL/PART TIME

We are a small, busy, specialist medical practice, located in Adelaide CBD. We are seeking a new medical receptionist, to work on a part time, casual basis-15-20 hours per week.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 2 years' experience in medical admin will be looked upon favourably.

Strong understanding of WorkCover processes and requirements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in medical practice management software (e.g., Best Practice, Genie, or similar).

Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

High attention to detail and organizational skills.

A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Greeting patients and managing check-ins.

Scheduling appointments and managing the practice calendar.

Processing billing, including Medicare and private health claims.

Assisting with WorkCover claims and documentation.

Managing phone inquiries and directing calls appropriately.

Maintaining patient records and ensuring confidentiality.

Supporting the clinical team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
