About the Role

GP Health Hackham Clinic is looking for a friendly, organised, and motivated person to join our reception team. This role is all about providing great patient experiences and keeping our clinic running smoothly.

We are offering a casual position with the opportunity to move into a permanent role for the right candidate.

No previous medical reception experience? That’s okay! We provide full training – what matters most is your great attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk Management: Welcome patients and assist with their needs in a professional, friendly manner.

Appointment Scheduling: Manage bookings accurately using our clinic’s scheduling system.

Recall & Results Follow-up: Manage patient recalls and follow-up results process according to clinic protocols.

Practice Operations: Assist with daily opening and closing procedures.

Payment Processing: Handle patient payments and accurately record transactions.

Administrative Support: Perform scanning, filing, and other tasks to support the team.

What We’re Looking For

Friendly and professional phone manner.

Ability to multi-task and problem-solve in a busy environment.

Confidence to work independently after training.

Reliability and flexibility to occasionally cover extra shifts.

High attention to detail in scheduling and admin work.

Commitment to confidentiality and patient privacy.

Current police clearance and CPR certificate.

Strong organisational and teamwork skills.
