We are working with a Queensland State Government department looking to hire a Delivery Manager to work across multiple technology projects.

The role

YOU WILL Lead and coordinate project planning and execution, ensuring successful delivery of key initiatives.

YOU WILL Maintain regular engagement with stakeholders to identify, address, and resolve risks and issues.

YOU WILL Build and foster effective customer relationships, ensuring their needs are prioritised and addressed throughout transition activities.

YOU WILL Provide accurate and timely reporting on project status, risks, and outcomes for leadership teams, project meetings, and forums.

YOU WILL Manage technical delivery requirements, including raising internal requests, preparing submissions, and securing approvals through governance forums in line with project timelines.

YOU WILL Proactively escalate and track issues identified during transition and Go-Live phases, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption.

YOU WILL Work closely with stakeholders to monitor incidents, communicate impacts, and ensure customers receive timely resolution updates.

Criteria for success

• Proven expertise in ICT project delivery, with strong capability in managing schedules, timelines, and milestones to ensure successful outcomes.
• Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands effectively.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and people management skills, fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, enabling clear reporting, status updates, and issue resolution.
• Proactive problem-solver with a "can-do" attitude, committed to driving projects forward and supporting business objectives.
• Comfortable working independently while also excelling as part of a broader delivery team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and MS Teams, leveraging these tools to plan, track, and coordinate project activities efficiently.
