Program Manager - ICT Transformation (12-Month Contract)

Contract Length:12 months

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a large and complex ICT program of work. This role offers the opportunity to manage multiple business, application, information, and technology projects within a highly visible transformation program.

The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping program strategy, leading project managers and delivery teams, managing governance, and ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, and to agreed standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage program and project teams, including planning, resourcing, recruitment, and performance management.
• Define and maintain an integrated program delivery plan and budget, monitor progress, and provide accurate forecasting.
• Identify, manage, and resolve risks and issues that could impact delivery.
• Provide reporting and updates on program performance, risks, and issues to senior stakeholders.
• Engage and consult with a wide range of stakeholders including program directors, business leads, and senior management.
• Ensure program governance, assurance, and documentation standards are met.
• Drive adoption of program and project management methodologies aligned with organisational standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong track record delivering ICT programs and projects.
• Experience with project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, MSP, and/or Agile.

Highly Desirable

• Public sector experience delivering ICT transformation programs.
• Experience with enterprise-wide ICT change initiatives in complex environments.
• Background in information security or cyber security programs.
• Experience leading programs with large-scale procurement and vendor/service management.
• Relevant tertiary and/or post-graduate qualifications in Business and/or Information Technology.
