About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join McGrath Port Stephens' growing real estate team. Based in the vibrant coastal town of Nelson Bay, NSW, this full-time role will see you overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality real estate services to our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

Manage all operational aspects of the real estate business, including staff coordination, workflow optimisation, and budgeting

Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency

Liaise with the executive team to identify and address operational challenges

Oversee the recruitment, training and management of the administrative and support staff

Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and internal policies

Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and customer-focused service

Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance the overall customer experience

What we're looking for

Significant experience (5+ years) in a similar operations management role, preferably within the real estate or professional services industry

Property-related experience is preferred for this operations management position

Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving operational excellence

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels

Proficient in the use of real estate software and office productivity tools

Training will be provided on our real estate software systems

Tertiary qualification in business, management or a related field is highly desirable

Australian work rights are required for this position
