Operational Planning & Resource Management
Participate in project planning with clients and iGroup / iGuard Managers, ensuring adequate resources, training, and equipment are allocated in advance.
Ensure that Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS) are developed, issued, and adhered to, including those provided by subcontractors or service providers.
Allocate and manage workforce resources effectively to meet operational demands.
Monitor employee performance and organise additional training or mentoring where required.
Conduct job inductions, toolbox talks, site safety inspections, and risk assessments as necessary.
Support payroll and finance by verifying hours worked, resolving timesheet discrepancies, and providing documentation as required.
Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees to meet demand for both casual and ongoing shifts.
Maintain a pool of available workers to ensure workforce capacity for urgent or last-minute client requirements.
Manage last-minute changes, replacements, and urgent client requests to minimise disruption to operations
Incident Management & Reporting
Investigate and respond to safety and hazard reports, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
Lead or participate in the investigation of incidents and accidents.
Prepare, maintain, and participate in safety meetings, reviews, and continuous improvement programs.
Ensure accurate records are maintained for compliance and audit purposes.
Escalate and resolve operational issues in real time to ensure site safety and client satisfaction.
Safety & Compliance
Implement the Company’s WHS policies and procedures, ensuring all legal and regulatory requirements are met across both traffic control and security operations.
Verify and maintain the currency of employee licenses, certificates, and qualifications.
Ensure all employees complete iGroup/iGuard and site-specific safety inductions.
Promote a culture of safety awareness at all times, providing guidance and support to employees.
Ensure all operations are carried out safely, without risk to staff, clients, or the public, and without adverse environmental impact.
Prepare, maintain, and provide hazardous chemicals/dangerous goods registers when applicable.
Liaise with councils, police, and other authorities to obtain Road Occupancy Licenses (ROL), permits, and approvals as required.
Client & Stakeholder Communication
Act as the primary point of contact for clients on matters relating to safety and compliance.
Provide advice, updates, and reporting to client representatives as required.
Support strong working relationships with employees, clients, and service providers to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Manage client bookings, confirmations, and scheduling of staff and equipment.
Respond promptly to client concerns, requests for information, or documentation (e.g., SWMS, insurances, timesheets).
Follow up on timesheets and invoicing requirements to ensure accuracy and timely billing.
