Tuckey Watercraft
Posted 17 hours ago
Help bring new ideas to life by owning the design-to-prototype loop for sheet-metal and CNC-milled components. We’re a small fast-moving, collaborative team where learning quickly and finding smarter ways to do things is part of the culture.
Who We Are
We’re an innovative marine manufacturing business applying advanced design and production techniques to develop high-quality, sustainable solutions for the next generation of watercraft and marine products. From vessel systems to efficient power solutions, we focus on turning good ideas into reliable prototypes and products—delivered with care, precision, and a focus on long-term value.
What You’ll Do
Build SolidWorks 3D parts/assemblies and prototype drawings.
Program CAM and operate large-format CNC routing machines.
Apply DFM/DFA principles to prototypes (bend reliefs, K-factors, tolerances, datum schemes) to ensure smooth transition to scaled production.
Create setup sheets and work instructions for prototypes, support initial builds and functional checks.
Share ideas and explore new ways to speed up workflows, improve accuracy, and solve problems creatively.
Help standardize templates and processes, contributing to continuous improvement in our rapid-development environment.
What We’re Looking For
Diploma, Degree or Certificate in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience).
Strong SolidWorks skills (sheet-metal, assemblies, and drawings).
Practical CAM programming experience (Mastercam / SolidCAM / Fusion 360 or similar).
Proven background with CNC milling machines.
Solid understanding of materials, finishes, and tolerances in a prototype setting.
A fast learner with a curious, experimental mindset who thrives on turning ideas into tangible prototypes.
A clear communicator with a hands-on, collaborative approach, comfortable working side-by-side with designers, operators, and engineers.
Why Join Us?
Be part of a company at the forefront of sustainable, high-tech marine innovation
We believe that great work happens when people are supported with balance and flexibility. That’s why we can also offer a 4-Day Work Week where you can enjoy long weekends with Fridays off. We can also offer a Flexible Start Time where you can start earlier or later, with the latest start time being at 10am. This can be decided with the successful candidate.
Work on exclusive, game-changing projects that redefine marine performance
Small fast-paced team, dynamic environment with endless opportunities for creativity
A culture that values bold ideas, problem-solving, and pushing the limits
We’re flexible and can offer payment through payroll or contracting, based on the candidate’s preference.
