The Role:
Kempe Engineering is currently seeking to employ a Lubrication Technician to work for our Melbourne based site team who will be responsible for equipment lubrication, contamination control, inspection and proactive maintenance activities for all lubricated mechanical systems. The successful applicant will be required to work day shift, on-call roster and be available for overtime during peak periods and plant shutdowns including occasional weekend work.
Key Responsibilities:
Safe and productive work practices
Assist in the continuous improvement of Kempe processes
Compliance with all Kempe Engineering policies and procedures
Ensuring client precision lubrication maintenance procedures are followed
Use of tools and equipment for routine and non-routine functions
Working with operations to identify and resolve lubrication related plant and equipment, reliability improvement opportunities.
Responsible for ensuring achievement of client maintenance KPI’s
Ensuring planned lubrication schedule is adhered to
Maintain lubrication store in accordance with best practice procedure
Correct labelling and tagging of reservoirs, inventory and delivery container
Assisting the maintenance team when required
To be successful in the role you will have:
Proactive safety focus
Mechanically minded
Experience in a heavy industry environment preferred although full training will be provided for right candidate
Previous Mechanical experience is highly desirable
Ability to work in team environment
Attention to detail, pride in your work with positive attitude
Ability to read and interpret relevant information
Australian Driver's license
Ability to pass full medical
