Position: CNC MILLING MACHINIST

We are looking for CNC Milling machinist- 1st class Setter / Operator to join our team in the production of engineering components & aftermarket automotive performance products.

PREREQUISITES:

Candidates need to possess trade qualifications or equivalent, a minimum of 3 years extensive experience in either Horizontal OR Vertical CNC milling machines in 3 & 4 or 5 axis operation is preferred.

Strong understanding of G & M codes associated with any of the Fanuc controls: Makino & Haas CNC machines would be an advantage.

Competent knowledge of machining feeds speeds & tool-life expectancy

Competency in the use of measuring equipment associated with CNC milling operation.

Have a sound ability to read engineering drawings, charts & written technical information.

Have attention to Detail

Basic computer skills & proficient in the use of Notepad &/or WordPad.

REQUIREMENTS:

This position suits an individual capable of accepting both manual programming & CNC production challenges, have the ability to coordinate multiple machines while delivering the results, efficiently & ensuring premium quality production in accordance with pre-set targets.

The position requires a team approach at all times and reports directly to the CNC supervisor.

Successful candidates need to be willing to advance their education in the field of CNC machining, manufacturing & Occupational Health & Safety.
