About the Role
You’ll be on the road, attending service calls, completing scheduled maintenance, repairs, and installations of waste chute systems across Melbourne. You’ll represent our brand, problem-solve on-site, and keep customers informed every step of the way.
As a key member of our team, you’ll be trusted to:
Receive and manage daily jobs via our operating system
Attend customer sites punctually and professionally
Diagnose and repair chute-related equipment
Complete routine chute cleaning and maintenance work to a high standard
Recommend upgrades or replacements when needed
Communicate clearly with customers and leave sites clean and tidy
Maintain detailed and accurate job notes and invoicing
Keep your service vehicle and uniform clean and presentable
Flag sales opportunities or additional service needs to the team
Assist with camera inspections, modifications, or installation work – no two days are the same.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience working in a service technician, mechanical, or fabrication role
Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
Is practical, reliable, and comfortable working independently as well as in a team
Can manage multiple jobs and communicate clearly with customers and our office team
Has a full driver's license and a good driving record
Is well-presented, with a friendly and professional approach
Is eager to learn and open to ongoing training and development
The following skills will be looked upon favorably but are not essential:
Experience diagnosing and repairing plant, machinery, or equipment breakdowns
Ability to overhaul or install new equipment and mechanical systems
Experience in welding and assembling machinery
A mindset of continuous improvement and problem-solving
Whether you’re from a fabrication background, field servicing, or general maintenance, your hands-on skills and mechanical aptitude will be highly valued.
