About the role

We are seeking an Inspections Officer to join our team at Rent Choice, a leading residential property management company in Perth, Western Australia. As an Inspections Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and condition of our rental properties. This part-time position offers flexibility and the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic and supportive team.

What you'll be doing

Conduct thorough property inspections to ensure properties meet our high standards and tenant obligations are being met

Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting the condition of the property and any necessary maintenance or repairs

Collaborate with the property management team to coordinate any required remedial work

Assist with the preparation of property condition reports at the commencement and conclusion of tenancies

Maintain accurate and up-to-date property records and documentation

The role is for 25 hours per week.

What we're looking for

Experience is preferred but not essential.

Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and document property condition accurately

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants.

Proficient in using property management software and Inspection Express, but training will be provided.

Experience with PropertyMe property management software is required

A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work autonomously

Skilled in troubleshooting maintenance issues with working knowledge of property upkeep

Must have an Australian driving licence and own vehicle

Australian work rights are essential for this position
