An experienced HR Business Partner is required for a successful organisation based North of the River.
Our client is seeking the expertise of an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join their team on an 18-month fixed-term contract.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for the provision of generalist services supporting the alignment of the HR strategy to the overall business objectives.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with major stakeholders to comprehend their business requirements including workforce planning, capability and recruitment
- Supporting high level sourcing and selection
- Assisting with onboarding, inductions and probations
- Provide generalist advice and design, develop and implement initiatives to ensure contemporary knowledge of the legislative framework and best practice
- Management of the performance review process
- Management of employee engagement and retention strategies
- Support identification of top talent, succession planning and leadership development
- Lead case investigations, performance management, grievances and disciplinaries
- Support industrial relations activities including negotiation of enterprise agreements, conducting BOOT tests, market benchmarking and contract reviews
- Actively participate in organisational design, including PD reviews, communication, change management and transformation activities
- Qualitative and quantitative data analysis and reporting
They are seeking an HR practitioner who possesses both qualification and experience in a similar role ideally within the mining and resources or heavy industrial sectors. You will be a proactive business partner who collaborates through open communication and visibility, influencing stakeholders with effective pragmatic solutions and a strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards for Australia. You will be able to demonstrate your experience in workforce planning, ER/IR, capability development, systems integration and supporting leadership at both an operational and strategic level.
This position will be offered on the basis of an 18-month fixed-term contract.
