APG Workforce is currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor for a 12-month assignment based in Sydney CBD.

• Job Title: Site Supervisor
• End Date: 12 months
• Hours/day: 8
• Hours/week: 40
• Pay Rate: $550 per day + super
• OT Required: Possibility of weekend work
• Location: office/site based

Role:

• Monitor and provide strong safety supervision with project site activities with the relevant information instruction and training to ensure compliance to defined standards of performance
• Coordinate and supervise all phases of maintenance and construction work on major and minor building, civil construction projects undertaken by both contract and day labour.

Challenges:

• Achieving client and business unit objectives given that strict time, cost and quality parameters apply when managing multiple projects and delivering components.
• Identifying and managing project delivery risks, including safety and environmental risks.

Essential Criteria:

• Well-developed knowledge and understanding of current Work Health and Safety legislation and regulations.
• Holds a trade certificate or equivalent with relevant experience in inspection and certification
• A valid NSW Driver’s License and willingness to drive to remote locations which may include overnight stays
