Seeking a Governance Analyst to work alongside the Senior Project manager - This is not an IT project.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Stakeholder Engagement & Governance Officer to support high-profile programs in partnership with state and Commonwealth government agencies, peak bodies, and community organisations.

In this role, you’ll combine your government experience, stakeholder engagement skills, and governance knowledge to ensure transparency, accountability, and results.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including senior executives, state and Commonwealth representatives, sector partners, and community organisations.
• Contribute to cross-sector reporting, aligning with state or national commitments.
• Analyse and simplify complex processes, communicating clearly to varied audiences.
• Apply governance frameworks to maintain compliance, transparency, and accountability.
• Gather, synthesise, and present information to support evidence-based decision-making.
• Support the implementation and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives.
• Prepare high-quality reports, briefings, and presentations for internal and external forums.

About You

• 2+ years’ experience working in or with government (state and/or Commonwealth).
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure.
• Strong experience applying governance frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships with diplomacy and tact.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to distil information from multiple sources into clear recommendations.
